Your privacy matters to us. This page explains, in plain words, what information we receive when you use this website or book with us, and what we do with it.

Who we are
Modern Signature Spa & Beauty (including Think Unlimited Spa and Signature Barbershop), next to Splendid Hotel, Moi Avenue, Mombasa, Kenya. We are responsible for the personal information you share with us, as a data controller under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019. You can reach us on +254 728 798 459 or on WhatsApp.
What this website collects
This website does not ask you to create an account. When you send a booking, the details you enter (name, phone number, treatment, branch, day, time and any note) are saved in our secure booking system so we can manage your appointment, and a WhatsApp message opens for you to send us. When you send an inquiry from the contact page, your name, phone number, subject and message are saved in the same system so we can reply, and a WhatsApp message opens for you to send us. If you add equipment to your enquiry list, the list is kept only in your own browser and is sent only when you press Send on WhatsApp.
What we receive when you contact us
When you message, call or visit us, we receive what you choose to share, usually:
- your name and phone number (WhatsApp shows us your number);
- the treatment, branch, day and time you would like;
- any notes you add, such as an allergy or an area to avoid in a massage;
- for equipment and group inquiries, your business, location and what you need.
Notes about your health (for example allergies, pregnancy or injuries) are sensitive information. Please share only what your therapist needs to treat you safely. We use it for that purpose only.
How we use it
- to confirm, change or remind you about your appointment;
- to answer your questions and send quotes for group bookings or salon equipment;
- to give you a safe, comfortable treatment.
We do not sell your information. We will only send you offers or news if you have asked us to, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
Who else is involved
- WhatsApp (Meta) carries your messages to us. Its own privacy policy applies to how it handles them.
- Google provides the map on our contact and branches pages and the fonts this site uses, so your browser connects to Google when those load. The map may use Google's cookies.
- Our website host keeps standard technical logs (such as IP addresses and pages visited) for security.
This website itself does not use cookies or tracking tools.
How long we keep it
We keep booking messages and notes only as long as we need them to look after you and to keep proper business records, and then delete them.
Your rights
Under the Data Protection Act, 2019 you can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Contact us on +254 728 798 459 or WhatsApp and we will respond as soon as we can. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
Children
Bookings for children, such as the Royal Kid Cut, should be made by a parent or guardian.
Changes
We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
